Guide to a Successful Purchase

FAQ – Guide to Successful Shopping

To ensure you have the best experience when choosing your new favorite piece of jewelry, we have prepared answers to the most frequently asked questions.

1. What materials is the jewelry made of?

In our web shop, you can find exclusive jewelry made exclusively from precious metals: silver (925), silver with high-quality gold plating, and gold. Each product has a detailed composition listed so you know exactly what you are buying.

2. How to choose the right ring size or necklace length?

On each product page, you will find a Size Guide. If you are in doubt, feel free to contact us by email before ordering – we will gladly help you choose.

3. Do you make custom (personalized) jewelry?

We will be introducing this option soon. We currently offer our author's collection, but if you have a special request, feel free to contact us. Please note that personalized jewelry cannot be returned as it is made exclusively for you.

4. How long does delivery take?

We pack your jewelry with special care within 3 to 5 business days. After that, GLS takes over, and you receive a tracking number so you know when it will arrive at your address.

5. What if I am ordering jewelry as a gift?

All our jewelry comes in branded packaging ready for gifting. If you wish to add a personal message, please state it in the "Notes" field when completing your order. We never place the invoice in the jewelry box, but rather in the shipping packaging.

6. Can I swim with jewelry?

Although gold and silver are durable metals, we recommend removing jewelry before swimming in the sea or a pool due to reagents such as chlorine. For the longevity of gold plating, we recommend checking our Jewelry Care Guide.

7. What if I don't like the jewelry in person as much as in the photo?

You have the right to return within 14 days, provided the jewelry is unworn and in its original packaging. Returns are not possible for earrings and personalized pieces due to hygiene reasons and the specifics of their production.

8. Is card payment safe?

We use the Monri Gateway Payment system, certified according to the highest security standards. We do not see or store your card data; processing is carried out by the bank in a secure environment. Payment is completely safe.

9. What is allowed and what is not recommended with jewelry?

Recommended:
Wear jewelry on everyday and special occasions. Occasionally polish it gently with a soft cloth.

Not recommended:
Exercise with jewelry (especially rings), clean the house with aggressive agents, apply perfume directly to jewelry.

At your own risk:
Sleeping with thin chains (they can get tangled or break) and showering with jewelry (soap leaves a layer that reduces shine).

Golden rule:
Jewelry is the last thing you put on in the morning and the first thing you take off in the evening.

10. How can I return a purchased product?

The return process is simple.

  1. Send us the completed Contract Termination Form to our email.
  2. Pack the jewelry in its original packaging and send it to our address.

We recommend sending the package with tracking. The cost of return is borne by the buyer. We will refund the funds after receiving and inspecting the product.

Jewelry Care Guide

Your jewelry is made of precious metals and requires careful handling to maintain its original shine and quality. Follow these guidelines for longevity.

1. Jewelry Storage

Store jewelry in a dry and dark place, ideally in its original packaging or a soft textile pouch. Avoid the bathroom due to high humidity, which accelerates silver oxidation.

2. Avoiding Contact with Chemicals

Jewelry is sensitive to certain reagents. Avoid contact with:

  • cosmetics (perfumes, polishes, creams – applied before jewelry)
  • cleaning agents
  • chlorine and sea salt

3. Physical Damage

Precious metals are soft and prone to scratches.

  • Remove jewelry before sleeping, exercising, or physical activities.
  • Be careful with thin chains that can easily get tangled or stretched.

4. Material Specifics

Silver (925): Naturally oxidizes in contact with air and sulfur. This is not a defect but a natural property that can be removed with a soft cloth.

Gold Plating: A thin layer of gold on silver that wears off over time, especially on rings.

Gold: Does not oxidize but can lose its shine due to grease and soap. It is soft and can be scratched or bent, especially for pieces with stones.

5. Cleaning and Maintenance

  • Regularly wipe jewelry with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Avoid abrasive agents, toothpaste, baking soda, and harsh brushes.
  • For gentle cleaning, use lukewarm water and a few drops of mild detergent, then dry thoroughly.
  • Clean gold-plated jewelry exclusively with a dry, soft cloth.
  • For deeper cleaning, we recommend professional service once a year.
