This Privacy Policy explains how “KLARA”, a trade business (hereinafter: "we", "us" or "Seller") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit our website and purchase jewelry. Your privacy is our priority and we are committed to protecting your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Purpose and legal basis for data processing

We collect your data only to the extent necessary to fulfill the following purposes:

2.1. Performance of the sales contract (Order)

To be able to send you the chosen jewelry, we collect:

  • First and last name, delivery address, billing address, e-mail address and telephone number.
  • Payment details: Payment is made via the Monri Payment Gateway system: we do not collect, process or store your card details. The entire payment process takes place on secure servers of the service provider Monri Payment in encrypted form.

2.2. Marketing and communication (Newsletter)

If you give us your explicit consent (newsletter subscription), we collect your e-mail address.

  • Purpose: Sending notifications about new collections and special offers (such as a 10% discount on your first purchase).
  • You can withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link.

2.3. Legal obligation (bookkeeping)

We store your invoice data (first name, last name, address) in accordance with the legal regulations of the Republic of Croatia regarding accounting and taxes.

3. Sharing data with third parties

We share your data exclusively with partners without whom we cannot fulfill your order:

1.   Delivery service (GLS, Croatian Post and DHL): We share your first and last name, delivery address, phone number, and other data necessary for the organization and execution of delivery. For international shipments, we forward the data necessary for delivery to the delivery service DHL.

2.  Card payment service provider: Monri Payment Gateway, for secure transaction processing.

3.     Bookkeeping service: For documentation processing in accordance with the law.

4.  IT and Marketing partners: For technical maintenance of the Web shop and sending newsletters

4. How long do we keep your data?

We store your data only as long as necessary or required by law:

  • Purchase and invoice data: In accordance with the Accounting Act, invoices and the data on them are kept for 11 years.
  • Delivery data: Kept until the expiry of the statute of limitations for potential legal claims (usually 5 years according to the Law on Obligations), so that we can prove delivery in case of a dispute.
  • Newsletter data: Kept until the moment of your unsubscription (withdrawal of consent). After unsubscribing, your address is deleted from the recipient list, unless we are required to keep it on another legal basis (e.g., if you are also a customer).

5. Rights of the data subject

At any time, you have the right to:

  • Access your data and information on how we use it.
  • Correction of inaccurate data and restriction of processing.
  • Deletion of data ("Right to be forgotten"), except for those we are legally obliged to keep.
  • Withdrawal of consent for the Newsletter (by clicking "Unsubscribe" in every email).

6.1. What are cookies? Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit our website. They help us make the web shop function faster and more securely.

6.2. Types of cookies we use:

  • Necessary cookies: These are necessary for the site to function (e.g., so the system remembers the products you have added to the cart while you browse other items). They do not require consent because purchase is not possible without them.
  • Analytical and marketing cookies: These help us understand which products you view the most and how you find our site. We use them only if you give us your explicit consent via the "Cookie banner".

6.3. Cookie management: You can disable or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. Please note that if you disable necessary cookies, the web shop may not function correctly (e.g., you will not be able to complete your order).
